Meet Me on Monday
I've been a big giant slacker the last few months. I tried to make a commitment to myself to blog more this year, and I haven't. Bad me. Very very bad me. So, I'm going to try again.
My friend, Lynn, blogged every day in 2011. EVERY DAY. Check her out her 2011 blog: http://randomthoughtsbybloggerette.blogspot.com/
Anyway she was following another blog, with a feature called "Meet Me on Monday"...totally fun. So, I'm going to try it, too. WAIT...I'm going to try Meet Me on Monday...not the blogging every day...you know well enough, that I will NOT do that after the 2010 debacle.
So, without further ado:
Questions:
1. I keep putting off: folding the white clothes - they moved from the bed, to a bench in our bonus room last night. Whoops.
2. What is your current weather? Sunny...a high of 58. I am kind of missing that early "summer" we had here in Chicago.
3. What is the nicest room in your house? Right now I am loving our great room...we JUST had it painted, and I LOVE the colors!
4. What jewelry do you never take off? I honestly only wear my engagement and wedding ring on daily basis, and I remove those before bed. Bad wifey.
5. Do you eat a snack before bed? If there's a snack around, I will...and out of boredom, normally. probably explains the size of my rear.

Week 2
Well, here we are...it's the second week of January, and I can't say I'm any more organized than I was in 2011. I still have GREAT intentions, though.
As I said before, my plan was to start small. Maybe plan for dinner, or make an appointment to take our sweet dog to the groomers. I haven't done any of it.
I have tons of excuses, stomach flu, work insanity, sweet little boy. This has to stop. No more excuses. So, I'm going to start devising a menu for next week, and this fancy blog is going to make me accountable. Maybe no one is reading, maybe you are...but I'm making this promise to myself.
On the upside...my jeans are a little loose. I'm giving that to the stomach flu! HAZAAAA!!

2012: A new year, a new project
I know I fell off the wagon in 2010 with my photo project....but I thought I would start 2012 with a new little project, and use my already existing blog to help chronicle.
Those of you that know me know that I can be a teensy bit unorganized. Well over the past eleven-ish months, I've felt even more unorganized than usual, and it's starting to weigh on me. (was that the right spelling?!?!?!)
So, I'm going to take this in small steps...planning for dinners...remembering to take the dog to get his nails clipped, doing laundry and actually putting it away. I will work on the other things, I just need to make myself accountable.
Maybe in the end. I'll be able to find the mates to sweet little boys socks without having a serious mental breakdown.

I know, I know...I've fallen off the wagon. I have fantastic excuses, though...we were moving, I was tired, and life just seems to be kicking my ass right now. Anyway, I swear I'm going to try to be a better blogger from now on. Cross my heart, hope not to die.
